PURPOSE AND MISSION
At GRT, our purpose is to bring together international BNI members who are passionate about collaboration and growth. We provide a platform for referrals, education, and information, fostering an environment where members can thrive both professionally and personally. Our mission is to expand the GRT family globally, nurturing a sense of community and upholding the core values of Givers Gain, equality, and diversity. We aim to be a catalyst for new BNI chapters in emerging markets, supporting the vision of BNI’s founder, Ivan Misner.

THE PROCESS
HOW GRT WORKS
GRT began as a WhatsApp group and has grown into a robust network with regular Zoom meetings held twice a month. These meetings provide a platform for members to introduce themselves through 30-second commercials and engage in meaningful conversations in breakout rooms. As GRT expands, it aims to become officially recognized by BNI as a leading BNI International group, facilitating global networking and collaboration.

MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA AND SELECTION
Membership in GRT is selective and based on a set of criteria designed to ensure a high standard of participation. Prospective members must:
- Agree with our mission statement and core values.
- Possess a C1 level of English proficiency as recognized by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
- Be willing to serve as translators or visitor hosts if needed.
- Commit to attending at least one meeting per month.
- Be active BNI members with a traffic light score ideally in the green or yellow range.
- Engage in global networking weekly and demonstrate accountability for their actions.
The selection process includes an application, an interview with the Membership Committee, and a trial period of attending two to three meetings. This process ensures that all members are aligned with GRT’s mission and values. The group maintains a diversity of industries, with membership slots allocated by country and industry to ensure a balanced representation.
